Kama Sutra – Acts of foreplay

Kama sutra lays great emphasis on the subtle acts of foreplay and maintains that the only way to enjoy a satisfying and enduring sexual relationship with your partner is to involve her into the act. Women are not regarded as mere sex objects and are perceived as equal stake holders in the sexual act and Kama sutra places a lot of importance in getting the woman involved such that it is not only enjoyable for her but also for the man. Moreover, some of the postures advocated by this great treatise on sex portray women in ascendant and dominant positions.
It is therefore logical and rational to expect that the act of sexual intercourse is truly incomplete without proper foreplay and Kama sutra talks of the following:

1. The act of embracing
This act removes and eliminates the physical gap between partners and is a very important first step towards intimacy. Strangers can break the ice with this gesture and known partners can express their love and passion with great gusto when they embrace each other. The act of embracing itself goes through four steps such as touching the partner, drawing her towards you, gently rubbing the body parts and then utilizing some force to press each other. During touching each other, the partners exchange soft nothings and once their bodies come in close contact with each other, there is a sudden gush of passion which leads to stroking and caressing each other with great enthusiasm. This action and the body heat generated sparks off rigorous pressing and grinding activity as a preliminary step towards intercourse. Kama sutra advises that the partners must exhibit gay abandon and must not hold them selves back at this point in time.

2. Kissing each other
The act of embracing may be accompanied by frenetic kissing or the kissing may happen later. Kissing is a great precursor to actual sexual activity and can generate a lot of passion if used on the right body parts. The female body provides about eleven ultra sensitive points such as the cheeks, eyes, forehead, lips, throat, the palate within the mouth, the area just above the breasts, the breasts them selves, the arm pits and the portion around the cunt.
c) Using nails
If kissing provided the initial stimulation, using nails to pierce the partner’s body parts gives it a huge impetus and increases the sexual excitement tremendously. Kama sutra advises that the usage of nails indicate a sexual intensity and animalistic fervor that does a great job in provoking passion. Care must however be taken to see that there are no deep gashes.

d) Biting with teeth and lips
This is another highly erotic and passion invoking gesture that needs to happen in conjunction with kissing or during the usage of the nails. Most areas of the body except the upper lip, eyes and the tongue are ideal parts for biting with the lips and even the teeth as long as the partner feels comfortable. Here again, care has to be exercised such that the biting is gentle and not something that causes pain or any mark on the body part. The areas around the bust and breasts are the most sensitive to such love bites.
