Kama Sutra attaches great importance to the role of the man in performing his part of the sexual activity and lays down specific guidelines as to how he should go about them.
a) Undressing his female partner
The male must know the art of sensually undressing his partner and must exercise restraint in showing his excitement and enthusiasm. He must not get carried away by the occasion and must proceed slowly. Women like to be approached with softness and they can get put off by rough and jerky movements on the part of the man. Though the female partner will express mild protests when the man tries to unfasten her dress, he must know that these protests are cosmetic and must proceed to engage her attention by kissing, whispering sweet nothings and stroking her at some of the sensitive points like the groin, breasts and the armpits. These actions will definitely stoke the passion within her and she would lay herself at the mercy of the man.
b) The first sexual intercourse
We are all aware that it is important to create a very positive first impression and that is the reason a man must indulge in foreplay for a long time and cultivate an atmosphere of seething passion before trying to penetrate his partner. Patience is the key word here and this process of foreplay is something that can be enjoyed by the couple with great gusto. The male must take his time to provoke sexual excitement within the female by touching her around the thighs and groin. This will automatically open up the female and is the first confidence boosting maneuver.
Once the open posture is obtained, the man must continue to indulge in fondling of her breasts and other sensitive parts like her armpits, while continuing to talk to her. Talking to her gets her into confidence and she feels happy and secure. He must not forget that it is a new experience for his virgin female partner and she would not know how to make the right moves. The first sexual intercourse should be a pleasurable one and not a painful affair.
c) During the actual intercourse
The time has come when the female partner is all willing and it is now that the man must take control and adopt postures that are convenient and favorable for enjoyable sex. A couple of them are explained below.
1) Mrigi or the Doe posture
This posture is taken from the manner in which a shy doe spreads the rear legs to permit the male to make his entry. Women with small cunts would do well to adopt this posture such that the male can have an easy entry even if his organ is of a big size. This will ensure painless entry and will not cause pain in the woman since she would already be wet with her juices that must have lubricated her cunt due to the extensive foreplay.
2) Hastini Asana or the She-elephant posture
This posture is an adaptation for those women who have large cunts and are able to engulf her male partner with ease. This again is very comfortable for both man and woman and ensures that the first sexual encounter is a smooth one.
