As the title say, has this even happened to you ever?

I remembered a few years ago (many years actually), we were a bunch of guys spending time together and so on. One day, one from the "gang" did not come outside to play. The rest of us were staying as usual and chatting about stuff and suddenly, that boy's mother comes to us and say:
