Women Lingerie why is it such a turn on for men?

A comedian was commenting on what attracted Chelsea John Terry to have an affair with his England's team mates Wayne Bridge's wife and he concluded that Bridge's wife has three of the words that turn men on associate with her, namely that she is French, Lingerie , Model. English men love French women, the also love models and lingerie, Bridge's wife was all three.

Well, this makes me wonder what is so amazing about lingerie, why does it turn men on so much? What is your take on this?

The main purposes would be:

* barely clother body is more attractive than nude
* women are more sexy when they wear lingerie due to having higher selfesteem
* it´s magnificent to get to take the lingerie finally off when the time is right (its like peeling a fruit)

Bargain, I could not agree more..the way laces and other women's undergarment accentuate their curves and tantalise is quite exciting... the fruit analogy is spot on.
