Just saying hello

Hey people,

Just thought I would say hello and introduce myself to the site.

I am looking to see how to get involved in the party scene but this is something you don't ask down the pub... can anyone point me in the right direction?

Your assumption is right Rigs, I think it went online mid/late 2008.

i'll be taking on a forum soon but its not going to be as interesting as this :-)

Hopefully someone will be able to reply with some details to my question.

I'll try and post an interesting topic every couple of weeks to get people talking on this site...

So who regularly posts on this forum?

Do you mean you are starting a forum or taking over an existing forum? Forums are notoriously difficult to get of the ground. Posting topics every couple of weeks will not get your forum off the ground.

One thing forum owners do to help one another is that they post at each others forums.... once there is enough members and the forum is going by itself without any need then you are there.

What topic will your forum be about?

I'll be starting one but this is for company purposes so it won't have that many members and will not be made public. its just gonna be general chit chat for our clients to discuss company issues ... so like I said... not as interesting as this forum :-)

Ahhh, I see what you mean. Giving that it will be such a low level usage, you may also want to consider using a blog.
With blog you can have discussions as well, forums are for really heavy discussions but nothing stops you from using a forum as well, just thinking about the admin involve with running a forum compared with blog, blogs are pretty easy to maintain.
